Essential:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, BEd or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant teaching experience.
- Proven record of effective teaching and strong student outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 3 Science curriculum (and Chemistry specialism).
- Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional growth.
- Willingness to contribute to co-curricular and whole-school activities.
- Understanding of inclusive, data-driven teaching strategies.
Desirable:
- Experience teaching in British or international curriculum schools.
- Familiarity with UAE education frameworks or compliance standards (especially around lab safety, chemical storage, and technician management).
- Experience in curriculum design and preparing students for GCSE pathways.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reflective Chemistry Teacher to join a growing secondary department. The successful candidate will bring a passion for science, strong subject knowledge, and a commitment to inspiring students through engaging, purposeful lessons that encourage curiosity and critical thinking.
You will work closely with the existing science team to develop and deliver the Key Stage 3 curriculum, while also contributing to the design of the school’s first GCSE science pathway, launching in 2028.
